TD TOOLS TECHNOLOGY UPDATE
DECEMBER 2023
How Can a Jetting Tool Work with Slickline?
How could it be possible to convey a tool with slickline that requires fluid to operate? Our latest downhole tool does exactly that. In partnership with Accu-Line Well Services we have developed a jetting tool that cleans with fluid jetting action in 360 degrees with no moving parts! The AccuPulse tool was developed to clean leaking Tubing-Retrievable Subsurface Safety Valves (TRSVs) without harm to internal components. AccuPulse is deployed on slickline and locks into the nipple profile of TRSVs. The production tubing is then used as the fluid carrier as cleaning fluid is pumped to the tool to pressure clean the valve. After cleaning, the tool is quickly retrieved to the surface.
AccuPulse Tool Cleaning a Tubing-Retrievable Subsurface Safety Valve

The AccuPulse Tool delivers a 360 degree hard hitting cleaning spray that uses no moving parts. This patent pending technology cleans at 2,500 psi - 5,000 psi and has adjustable orifices that can flow as little as 10 gpm at 3,000 psi up to 80 gpm at 5,000 psi. The elimination of moving parts guarantees full spray coverage every time. The AccuPulse tool can also be run on coiled tubing for safety valve cleaning in addition to general scale removal and cleaning of tubing and casing. Let us know if you have any questions or would like to discuss how this technology would apply to your well.
New Technology Spotlight
TD Technologies is a division of TD Tools that provides technology incubator services for multiple industries including those outside of our day-to-day operational field of Oil & Gas. All of the TD Tools product lines have grown from finding solutions to customer problems and developing those solutions into working tools with field proven results.
From "back of the napkin" conceptual design that evolves into a 3D model complete with machine drawings to prototype construction and testing, TD Technologies can take your idea or the solution to your problem and make it a reality. Intellectual property management and documentation and disclosures for the patent process are also important for protecting new technology and TD Technologies can help with that as well.
